Inspired by Troma films, Evil Dead, and John Waters, The Taint is a 2010 no-budget award-winning horror comedy with an over-the-top 80's-style synthesizer soundtrack. It was distributed by Troma Entertainment and was a big hit on the independent film festival circuit.
The original score was composed by Drew Bolduc and features the music of Philip Heesen III, Robert King, Brian Beck, and Chris Bolduc.
Due
to many fan requests, there are plans to release the soundtrack as a
vinyl record, but to do it they need your help, so they have launched a
Kickstarter campaign.
